The first I started with was the girl as I interoperate the song to be about an ex-lover. So getting my model I took, and used this picture.
I then went in using Photoshop, and added flames to her hair, and also adding some orange highlights along her cheeks, neck, and forehead. I then went back and changed the eye color, and her lip color as well.
After that I went in and added the glitch effects to the picture. (Note the glitch effect can be accomplished by going into one of the RGB channels then going to Filter-Distort-Shear.)
I then found a good arcade machine, and took a picture of it. Then I went into Photoshop, and masked her onto the screen of the arcade machine.
Then I decided to give the Arcade Fire name a retro look so I took the text, and turned it into this.
I then took my text, and applied it onto my cover for the vinyl.
Finally I took a mock up of a vinyl, and added my cover onto it making it fit well. I then took my original layout for the text, and applied it to the vinyl itself.
